What do consultants do for PFM?
In short, they serve our clients. This may involve debt transaction management and issuance oversight. It may involve computer modeling or budget and financial analysis. Frequently, consultants work on marketing, including research, RFP responses, and oral presentations.

What do we do for our consultants?
Training. PFM offers the most comprehensive training program in the financial industry. Through three months of intense classroom training with some access to real client work, our consultants learn the financial and computer skills they need to become the best in the business.

Responsibility. PFM’s flat organizational structure creates an environment where consultants can grow and thrive. Consultants work directly with Managing Directors and clients, creating opportunities for learning and networking.

Opportunity. PFM offers our consultants long-term career options. Unlike some financial services providers, PFM has no two-year program. In fact, we welcome consultants to stay on board. PFM values knowledge, and we show it by providing reimbursement for graduate school. We also offer opportunities for ongoing training in computer modeling, finance, and presentation skills.
