Big or small, governments rely on revenue to fund their programs for the public. While everybody wants more and better services, it is becoming increasingly difficult to convince taxpayers that increasing – or even maintaining – existing revenue streams is an important part of the equation.
In response to these growing pressures, the PFM Strategic Consulting team works with governments at all levels to:
- analyze current revenue structures to identify strengths, weaknesses, and alternatives;
- revise revenue structures to become more stable and effective;
- develop creative, new revenue alternatives to reduce reliance on less popular sources;
- serve as an independent facilitator and subject matter expert for revenue task forces and commissions.
