Marissa Wortman joined Public Financial Management's Orlando office in September 2005 as a Senior Managing Consultant. As a Senior Managing Consultant, Ms. Wortman is responsible for providing analytical and technical support to the financial advisory group which includes: sizing bond transactions, creating spreadsheet models, performing refunding analyses, and preparing documentation for debt offerings.

Ms. Wortman is also responsible for conducting competitive bond sales and structuring both tax-exempt and taxable new money and refunding bond issues. In addition to general governmental financings, Ms. Wortman will provide project management on higher education finance, working with higher education institutions located throughout the southeast.

Prior to joining PFM, Ms. Wortman was an Assistant Vice President at Stifel, Nicolaus and Company, Incorporated, Hanifen Imhofff Division where she served as support banker in numerous underwriting and financial advisory financings, investment programs, and competitively bid bond issues for Florida clients such as: Broward County, Seminole County, Bay County, Escambia County, Cities of Miami, Panama City, Oviedo, and Apopka. She has participated in the completion of short-term and long-term financings exceeding $1.5 billion in par issuance.

Ms. Wortman received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Central Florida in December 1997, graduating at the top of her class with Summa Cum Laude honors.
