Washington Health Care Facilities Authority

PFM has served as the independent financial advisor to the Washington Health Care Facilities Authority since 1997. Working closely with Authority staff, PFM has led borrower education seminars and participated in many meetings with prospective borrowers to help them understand the capital markets, their financing options, and the Authority's practices. In addition to the dozens of publicly-sold revenue bond transactions that PFM has helped the Authority structure and price, PFM has also participated in several competitively placed lease transactions for helicopters and other equipment.

Moreover, PFM Asset Management has worked with many of the Authority's borrowers on the structuring and competitive procurement of escrow securities, the reinvestment of bond proceeds in construction funds, and the analysis, structuring and procurement of several interest rate swaps.
